We are so thrilled to announce that Coconut is teaming with Dotsub. DotSub has been the leader in video captions and translations as subtitles for years. dotSUB provides online video content and subtitles in hundreds of languages across the world for top brands such as General Electric, Adobe, and the TED Conferences.

Dotsub

DotSub provides a huge number of translations thanks to its large community. Thus, there is a great deal of interactivity between the video source, the subtitles' integration, and our video encoding service. This whole process must be seamless. They needed to have one keyframe for each second of the video so that users can easily jump to any part of the video. The more keyframes there are, the more precisely you can browse the timeline. Users can easily jump back and forth in the video.

Simply put, having Coconut encode our videos allows us to focus on our core business of video captioning and translation. Coconut has been encoding Dotsub's video content seamlessly for over 5 years.
