We are pleased to announce that we now support the Windows Azure Platform as output location. Windows Azure is a cloud platform built by Microsoft in 2010 that provides a number of services, including a cloud storage solution known as Blob Storage.

To upload your encoded videos to Windows Azure, use the output_url like this:

output_url=az://account:access_key@container/filename

All of our APIs, which include Core API, HLS API and Preview API, have been updated to support Windows Azure.

With this great addition, Coconut proudly supports the most popular CDNs in the world: Amazon S3, Rackspace Cloud Files, Windows Azure, FTP servers (Akamai, Limelight, Edgecast and many more), SFTP, and HTTP(s) servers. Take a look at the documentation to find out how to upload to these destinations.
